To connect your affiliate program account you need to click the Programs button to get to the StatsDrone Programs page where you can search for the affiliate program that you need to connect. Make sure that you have found the right affiliate program before you hit the “Connect” button and be mindful of the Software column value on it since some programs with the same or similar names might be working with multiple software platforms and your account will work only for one of them.
Click the “Connect” button on the desired affiliate program to get to the account connection screen where you need to set your report preferences.
Name - you can change this value to whatever you like and what would make the most sense for you;
Connect the program via API details/Connect the program via login credentials - this checkbox option will be available for affiliate programs that we support connecting with both methods of authentication, so you can select whichever you prefer;
Username/Email/Username or email - this field label will be set differently depending on the required credential forms and it will be set to “Username or email” in case both forms are accepted;
Password - make sure you input your account password correctly in this field;
API Key (only in API connection) - this is a mandatory field for all affiliate program accounts connected via API;
API ID (only in API connection) - this field of the form is not mandatory because only some affiliate programs use API ID in combination with the API Key for authentication;;
Select the starting year & month for the report - choose the year and month from the drop-down pickers to set the past point in time since when the statistics in your reports will be populated;
Start the report data collection process now - if you mark this checkbox the report data collection process will start immediately after you hit the “Save” button and if you don’t mark you’ll have the opportunity to start the process at a later time of your choosing;
Set report currency matching your account currency - select the currency for all monetary values in the reports - we highly recommend selecting the same currency in which the affiliate program pays out your earnings, otherwise the app will automatically convert the values to the currency selected in this field according to today’s exchange rates, however, note that the exchange rates of our service may slightly differ from your bank exchange rates;
Set account RS percentage (optional) - this field will show up only for some affiliate programs that do not provide Revenue Share Commission data in their reports, so the app can calculate an estimated amount for you based on the Net Revenue data in your account (set 0 in this field if you do not wish to utilize it);
Set account CPA reward per FTD (optional) - this field also shows up only for some affiliate programs which do not provide CPA Commission data in their reports, so the app can calculate an estimated amount for you based on the FTD numbers in your account (set 0 in this field if you do not wish to utilize it);
Set tags for searching & filtering - tags can be used to provide quick filtering of your accounts in the system and viewing tailored reports based on them (e.g. “USA” tag can be used to filter programs only available in the USA).
