  • Listed affiliate programs that support retrieving statistics via API will have the “Connect the program via API details” checkbox available for selection on the connection page in the StatsDrone app.

  • The API credentials for your affiliate program account can be retrieved in different ways depending on how each software platform handles it, some make them available in your account details section, some in the reporting section, some have a separate section dedicated to API details and for others you’ll have to contact your account manager and make a request. Also, note that a valid API Key will be needed to connect each and every affiliate program while the API ID is needed only for some of them.

  • Here’s an example on how to get your API credentials from an affiliate program that is part of the MyAffiliates platform - log in your affiliate program account, go to the “Account” section, then to the “Authorisation” menu, type a name for your API client in the “Client name” field and hit the “Create new client” button. Then the API credentials will be shown on the screen, so make sure that you copy them and keep them safe. The “Client secret” value corresponds to the API Key field in the StatsDrone app while the “Client identifier” corresponds to the API ID field.

  • For affiliate programs that are part of the Income Access platform you’ll need to login your affiliate program account and go to the “Reports” section, then to the “API Reports” menu, hit the “GENERATENEWKEY” button, enable the “Active” checkbox and then click the “SUBMIT” button. The “securitykey” that you generate this way corresponds to the API Key field in the StatsDrone app and it’s the only key you need to get your account connected via API.

  • For affiliate programs that are part of the SoftSwiss platform you’ll need to dig a bit deeper to get your API credentials, so login your affiliate program account and go to the “Reports” section, then to the “Statistics” menu, click the “Export report” option available at the top right corner of the report and then click the “JSON” option from the drop-down menu. A new page will open in a new browser tab and you need to scroll right to the end of the URL address in the address bar, then make sure you copy and use the full API Key that will be shown between the “&token=” and the “&page=1” parameters (e.g “…&token=12345abcde67890fghij12345klmno&page=1” in this example your API Кey is the “12345abcde67890fghij12345klmno” value).
